Product Review: IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara

I'm always in the market for a new mascara, and I found one that may have stopped the search for the foreseeable future! My home town of Rochester, Minnesota, recently had an ULTA store open, and I finally got the opportunity to shop there. I went in with a few items I wanted to leave with, namely Philosophy Amazing Grace perfume, Living Proof Perfect Hair Day dry shampoo, and IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara. 

I'm a devoted EmilyNoel83 fan on YouTube, and she's been singing it's praises for a while now. She's never steered me wrong before, so I knew it was worth the $24 price tag. The majority of products I use are drugstore unless they're from a subscription box or a gift. I received a sample of this in my first Sephora Play bag, and it was love at first application.

The brush is nothing out of the ordinary, but I like that it doesn't come out with a ton of product on it. That feels wasteful as it's being exposed to air, and I usually try to wipe it off so it doesn't get all over. Steady hands early in the morning aren't always guaranteed, and a brush that isn't overloaded keeps me from making a huge mess. It's also a long handle/brush which makes it easy to maneuver. It's easy to use and clearly designed well.

Due to watery eyes, waterproof is my go-to. This isn't available in waterproof, and I didn't really need it. It doesn't budge. No fallout below the eyes, no clumps, and it holds a curl from early morning until I wash my face at night. One coat is all I need, and for impact I'll do a little extra on the tips. I have naturally long lashes, and even if I extend the brush all the way to the ends of my lashes, it doesn't transfer onto my lids like some mascaras do. It's truly amazing... my lashes don't break off like they usually do when I'm removing my makeup either.

So it's amazingly beautiful, AND good for my lashes. Yeah, it's a game changer. My BFF doesn't know this yet, but she's getting a tube of this for her birthday that's coming up. She's a hard-working nurse, and her go-to look for work is mascara and brows. Here's her new favorite mascara, too!

I'm so excited to share my thoughts on this product. Not only did I get to go to ULTA, I found an awesome mascara that I'll definitely go back for in the future.
